I painted this marble texture with a 12 step process on to a 12' resign column for SCAD's sitcom The Buzz - Season 2. I started by sanding the column to get as smooth as possible and then began painting my base wet blending layer. I sealed this layer with a matte finish followed by a gloss finish and repeated these three steps two more times. After this I used the edge of a feather to create the veining and sealed it with  gloss finish.
