NATIONAL WOMEN'S PARTY HEADQUARTERS

Once tasked to design an office for a historical figure I quickly began researching the National Women's Party, an American women's political organization formed in 1916, and their fearless leader Alice Paul. Alice Paul spent her life fighting for women's suffrage and advocated for many more equal rights issues after achieving this goal with the adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment. When designing Alice Paul's office I wanted to highlight many of her achievements and I made a point to set deck her office with real flags and pictures  from the National Women's Party. I also featured signs she had made for the Silent Sentinels in 1919 and newspaper articles announcing the passing of the Nineteenth  Amendment.

I designed this set in Sketchup and rendered it with Vray. I took these renderings and painted the sky and figure with Photoshop.
